Communications Considerations

Communications:

  • Every deployment of a GreaseBoss system requires some kind of communications gateway.

  • All GreaseBoss devices use the gateway to share data to the secure cloud, where it is processed, analysed , admin updates are made and updates returned to sensors and devices periodically and indefinitely.

  • Therefore it is very important you consider how the data will be transferred, well ahead of the hardware arriving (in some cases this may dicate the derivative of the hardware required)

  • Please review the following options and let your GreaseBoss representative know how your site will be setup, so we can set you up for a speedy startup

✅ Please Note: A manual greasing system would require the gateway to reaside INSIDE the workshop with an additional external antenna for the LTE - please specify if you are ordering a manual greasing solution. GBLG20/21 series gateways are required to be located within a few metere of the head units during charge/synchronisation for an optimal outcome.
