Powering
The GreaseBoss gateway may be powered using passive power over ethernet (PoE) through the RJ45 port.

The device is NOT COMPLIANT with the IEEE 802.3af-2003 standard: powering the device from an IEEE 802.3af-2003 power supply will damage the device as it is not rated for input voltages of the PoE standard.

The device is NOT COMPLIANT with the IEEE 802.3at standard: it cannot power other devices over Ethernet.
PoE Passive Mode B is to be used as per the following pinout. Recommended voltage is 24VDC fed via a PoE Injector to act as a buffer rather than dirty DC.
Option 2: DC Power
12VDC or 24VDC can alternatively be fed directly to the device through an IP67 2-Pin connector. This plug can be provided terminated to a 240 VAC to 12VDC converter or unterminated.
