HME ENDPOINT INSTALL GUIDE

1	Install Greaseboss HME Gateway (teltonika) with external bluetooth anntenna for endpoint pairing / syncing
2	Gateway communications options for internet connectivity	Sim card ( GB supplied or customer supplied ) Site Wi-Fi
3	Install GB Gateway in electrical enclosure ( water / dust resistant )	Connect BLE antenna Connect LTE antenna Connect power by 12v deutsch plug supplied.
4	Mount external bluetooth antenna on bracket or similar	For installing the BLE Antenna you will need the following: GreaseBoss Provided: Antenna Pole Mounting Bracket Amalgamating Tape User Provided: Electrical Tape The antenna has an O-ring designed to ensure the Antenna is weatherproof --------------------------------------------------------------- Thread antenna through the threaded hole on the bracket until it is tightly wound. Note the Bracket is design to be pole mounted. --------------------------------------------------------------- Take the N-type connector of the braided cable and connect it to the Antenna, be sure there is no gap between the threads. --------------------------------------------------------------- wind the tape around the connection starting from the bottom of the plate down to the N-type connector of the 15m Cable. This will help prevent water disrupting the connection. Cover amalgamating tape with Electrical tape, this will provide extra protection from weather and UV. ------------------------------------------------------------------ secure all cabling consider mounting position for best overall signal strength
5	confirm power to gateway	once powered check for power led (PWR)
6	BLE Range checking with endpoints	when gateway installed completly perform range testing with an endpoint at all the locations to confirm connectivity Confirm Endpoint in signal range of gateway with manual sync button hold ( 7 secs ) Wait for long green flash to confirm successful sync / pairing with gateway If sequence finsihes with red. possibly out of signal area minimum attempt three consecutive failures to identify failure consider antenna location or second gateway to resolve repeat from process 5 if antenna relocated
7	Install all endpoints in desired locations	Confirm Endpoint in signal range of gateway with manual sync button hold ( 7 secs ) Wait for long green flash to confirm successful sync / pairing with gateway If sequence finsihes with red. possibly out of signal area consider Antenna location or second teltonika to resolve
8	Confirm cloud connectivity	login to your account goto site explorer > location > asset > endpoint check for in diagnostics tab on all endpoints to confirm successful sync from gateway to cloud
