GreaseBoss Application - Walkthrough and mapping Tags

Summary

The GreaseBoss APP is available for download on the apple app store or on Google play.

Simply search for GreaseBoss and download the app to your device.

Getting Started

Once you have downloaded and installed the app to your device you can login with your GreaseBoss cloud credentials.

Once logged in you will have an overview of your current locations setup in your account.

📁 Your credentials will log you in to the most recent account used.

For users with multiple accounts, ensure the account most recently accessed on a desktop PC is the one you want to access with the app.

    1. Enter the unique name of new location

    1. any notes relating to location

The location button will allow sub-locations or assets to be added once in the first hierarchy level.

  3. Delete all data from phone ( on next sync the cloud will sync the data back to the phone )

REMAPPING V1 TAGS TO V2 TAGS

REMAPPING version 2 TAGS (replacing version 1 tags)

OPTIONAL:

  • If you wish to confirm the currnet mapping of a version1 tag, you can manually swipe it around the scanning collar of the head unit to “read” its configured location.

  • This assists confirming you are about to update data for the point you intend to.

  • In some circumstance this may not be relevant and you can advance to the next step, and simply overwrite with the version 2 tags rfid.

WHEN THE TAG IS READ AND THE CORRRELATING POINT NAME IS FOUND , THE POINT NAME AND ASSET NAME WILL BE DISPLAYED AS INDICATED IN THIS IMAGE.
