GreaseBoss Mobile Application - Google and Apple Information

  • GreaseBoss has developed an App to aid commissioning and configuration of GreaseTags and Endpoints.  

  • The GreaseBoss App can be installed from Apple App Store and Google Play Store, you may need to seek approval to install this App on your device.  

  • As part of publishing the App, it has been officially reviewed by Apple and Google to ensure its meets the required standards for publishing on their app stores.  

  • The GreaseBoss App has been approved by both Apple and Google for release.

Step 3 - Use the Onboarding App (Manual Systems)

Technical explanation for IT departments:

The GreaseBoss Mobile App provides the following functionality: 

  1. Download existing account setup (if any) from your account within GreaseBoss Cloud

  2. Creation of assets and their locations

  3. Creation of points on the assets to be monitored

  4. Map GreaseTags and Endpoints to the created points either using the QR Code or manually entering the RFID/Serial number. 

  5. Allow editing of all the above. 

  6. Upload account setup from the app to the web portal

  • The app has no paid content or subscription, the app is provided free of charge to aid the commissioning process. 

Data Safety:

  • No data shared with third parties

  • The app collects device ids such as RFID and/or Serial Number

  • Data is encrypted in transmit

  • To use the app you need GreaseBoss Cloud access credentials.
