HME installation Procedure - Mobile equipment

step 1 - determine the ideal endpoint location for install

step 2 - perform range testing to confirm connectivity with devies and gateway

step 3 - install the gateway

step 4 - install the endpoints

where applicable it is best practice to install the endpoints directly or as close as possible to the bearing or point

note: the Endpoint MP2 also measures pressure so you have more flexibility on install location.

step 1 - install the gateway install gateway in electrical cabinet or similar weatherproof environment externally mount bluetooth antennae you may need to consider a different install location so leave this as a “loose” / temporary install until connectivity confirmed connect backhaul configuration externally mount LTE antennae if required. connect LAN cable if required once gateway is powered and operational proceed to step 2
step 2 - range testing walk to each point location with an endpoint device hold the the endpoint as close as possible to install location and perform a manual sync if all points have a successful sync proceed to INSTALL THE ENDPOINT if a point has an unsuccessful sync confirm with a minimum of 3 attempts consider gateway BT antenna install location. the BT and devices have a range of 50m+ , but significant structrual steel can impede the signal. consider endpoint install location running a longer hose to a location within range
